Within the school of Applied Technology Dean Kristen Benedict has gathered an instructional staff with the knowledge to give students what they need to be successful in the world of skilled trades. Kristen is a proud of her community college beginnings, earning her bachelors in from the University of Arizona and Masters from Arizona State University.

One such program in Industrial Maintenance is a two-semester sequence leading to stackable certificate. These certificates are stackable, which means that they can lead to a two-year associate's degree and to four-year degrees. With a focus upon short term, trainings that are industry approved to help improve the economic and workforce needs in our community.
